Water heater leak

In this Huntsville home, the water heater located in the attic leaked.  The water came down through the light fixtures and ceiling fan and spread throughout several rooms.  

To the untrained eye, the carpet didn't look very wet at first.  But after a few days, the customer noticed a musty odor.  Our crew arrived, took moisture readings and discovered the water damage to the subfloor.  Our crew lifted the carpet, removed the saturated padding, and set drying equipment to dry the wood subfloor.

As you can see in the after picture, the subfloor was dried out and saved by our drying efforts.
