Hurricane Matthew water damage

We frequently send crews out of town to help other SERVPRO franchises when a large disaster such as a hurricane or flood affect their area.  

These pictures are from a home that was damaged after Hurricane Matthew hit Florida in October 2016.  It's hard to see the full extent of the damage in the before photo.  Our crews often work 12-15 hours a day during these storm events.  It was late in the day when we arrived and the home was without power.  Usually in storm events, most of the damaged homes are without power for days or weeks.  

In the after drying photo, you can see more of the impact of the damage.  Our primary focus is to remove damaged materials and dry out the structure as quickly as possible.  We also want to save as much of the homeowner's belongings as possible.
