Subfloor Damage Under Carpet

A toilet overflow in this Huntsville home caused water damage to the master bath and master bedroom.  

In the before picture, you can barely make out a wet area of the carpet.  The water seeped into the carpet and subfloor across 1/3 of the master bedroom.  Our crew performed the initial mitigation services which include extracting standing water, pulling back the carpet, removing the saturated pad and treating the area with antimicrobial.  

In the after picture, you can see the water damage to the subfloor.  The crew then set drying equipment and monitored the drying progress for a few days until all affected materials reached the drying goal.
